Binil Aryal
Binil Aryal is a Nepali physicist and the dean of Tribhuvan University (TU)'s Institute of Science and Technology. Previously, he served as the head of the Central Department of Physics, located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. He was born in 1969 in Saptari District of eastern Nepal. He is also a senator of the TU assembly and a member of the TU academic council. Aryal served as the chairperson of a working committee that drafted TU's "structure of B.Sc. four year system". Aryal has been working in the field of galaxy orientation and evolution. His research interest includes the origin of angular momentum or spin vectors of galaxies in the large scale structure and the structure shaping mechanism in the interstellar medium. He has published over forty papers in international journals. Tribhuvan University
Tribhuvan University (TU; ne, त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय) is a public university located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Established in 1959, TU is the oldest university in Nepal. In terms of enrollment, it is the 12th largest university in the world. The college offers 1000 undergraduate and 500 postgraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. Additionally, the institution has 30 constituent campuses and over 600 affiliated colleges across the country. Because it is government-funded, the tuition fees are less expensive than those of private (affiliated) college campuses. Kirtipur (Nepal Bhasa: किपू ''Kipoo'') is a Municipality and an ancient city of Nepal. The Newars are the natives of Kipoo (Kirtipur) that is believed to be derived from Kirati King Yalamber. It is located in the Kathmandu Valley 5 km south-west of the city of Kathmandu. Birendra Shah ( ne, बीरेन्द्र शाह) (Unknown – November 8, 2007) was a print and broadcast journalist for the Nepal FM, ''Dristi Weekly'', and Avenues TV in Bara, Nepal. Shah was kidnapped October 4/5, 2007, by Communist Party of Nepal Maoists from Pipara Bazaar, Kalaiya, Bara, Nepal, and found dead one month later.
