Billy Jeffrey
William Jeffrey (born 25 October 1956) is a Scottish former footballer who played for Oxford United, Blackpool, Northampton Town and Kettering Town. During his spell at Oxford, he played 314 league games, and he is thirteenth highest in the overall list of appearances. After retirement, Jeffrey has been assistant manager twice, and has managed Irthlingborough Diamonds, Stamford, Rugby Town and Banbury United. Blackpool Jeffrey made his debut for Sam Ellis' Blackpool on 2 October 1982, in a 2–0 victory over Darlington at Bloomfield Road. He made thirteen further appearances in ''the Seasiders''' 1982–83 campaign, the final one being on 12 March 1983, in another 2–0 home win, this time over Port Vale. He also scored one League goal, in a New Year's Day defeat at Hartlepool United. Helensburgh
Helensburgh (; gd, Baile Eilidh) is an affluent coastal town on the north side of the Firth of Clyde in Scotland, situated at the mouth of the Gareloch. Historically in Dunbartonshire, it became part of Argyll and Bute following local government reorganisation in 1996. Geography and geology Helensburgh is northwest of Glasgow. The town faces south towards Greenock across the Firth of Clyde, which is approximately wide at this point. Ocean-going ships can call at Greenock, but the shore at Helensburgh is very shallow, although to the west of the town the Gareloch is deep. The West Lancashire derby (sometimes also known as the '' M55 derby'') is a local rivalry in English football between Lancashire clubs Blackpool and Preston North End. The derby has taken place across all four tiers of English football, but not the top flight since the formation of the Premier League. Blackpool were promoted to the Premier League in 2010; Preston North End have yet to reach it. They did not meet in the League between the 2009–10 and 2020–21 seasons, but did so again in the 2021–22 EFL Championship campaign following Blackpool's promotion from the third tier. Horwich RMI
Horwich ( ) is a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Prior to 1974 in the historic county of Lancashire. It is southeast of Chorley, northwest of Bolton and northwest of Manchester. It lies at the southern edge of the West Pennine Moors with the M61 motorway passing close to the south and west. At the 2011 Census, Horwich had a population of 20,067. Horwich emerged in the Middle Ages as a hunting chase. Streams flowing from the moors were harnessed to provide power for bleachworks and other industry at the start of the Industrial Revolution. The textile industry became a major employer and after 1884 the construction of the railway works caused the population of the town to increase dramatically. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA).
