Big Brother Panto (UK)
''Big Brother Panto'' is a special series of ''Big Brother (UK), Big Brother'' that brought together ten housemates from previous ''Big Brothers'' to produce the pantomime ''Cinderella''. It aired from 20 December 2004 to 5 January 2005 on the Channel 4 network. The pantomime performed, ''Cinderella'', was written by Jonathan Harvey (playwright), Jonathan Harvey, who wrote the British sitcom, sitcom ''Gimme Gimme Gimme (TV series), Gimme Gimme Gimme''. Broadcasts ''Big Brother Panto'' aired from 20 December 2004 to 5 January 2005 and was presented by Jeff Brazier. It was broadcast each night on E4 at 10pm and repeated the following morning the T4 (Channel 4), T4 slot on Channel 4. On 28 December there was a live show on E4 at 11am where comments and suggestions from the public were read to the housemates. The finale aired at 9pm on E4. Jeff Brazier
Jeffrey Carl Brazier (born 27 May 1979) is an English television personality and presenter. Early life and education Brazier was brought up in Tiptree, near Colchester in Essex, and attended Thurstable School, a mixed state comprehensive school in his home town. Career Television In 2001, Brazier took part in the Channel 4 reality television show '' Shipwrecked'', in which he and fifteen other people had to stay on a tropical island without any creature comforts. After this, Brazier took part in the ITV programme '' Simply the Best'', as well as presenting the TV programmes ''Dirty Laundry'' and Big Brother Panto with June Sarpong. A pantomime dame is a traditional role in British pantomime. It is part of the theatrical tradition of '' travesti'' portrayal of female characters by male actors in drag.
