''Big Brother Brasil 14'' was the fourteenth season of ''Big Brother Brasil'' which premiered January 14, 2014, with the season finale airing April 1, 2014 on the Rede Globo television network. The show is produced by Endemol Globo and presented by journalist and interviewer Pedro Bial. The season is officially confirmed since March 2012 as part of a millionaire contract between international Endemol and Rede Globo, which guaranteed the show's rights until 2016. The grand prize is R$1.5 million with tax allowances, with a R$150,000 prize offered to the runner up and a R$50,000 prize offered to the 3rd place. For the first time ever, three women reached together the ''Big Brother'' final. Also, for the first time, ''BBB'' had two female winners in back-to-back seasons. Pedro Bial
Pedro Bial (born March 29, 1958) is a Brazilian producer, director, writer, journalist and a TV presenter. He is best known for hosting the variety show ''Fantástico'', and the reality show '' Big Brother Brasil'' (the Brazilian version of '' Big Brother''). Career Bial graduated in journalism from PUC-RJ. His career, as a reporter, began at Rede Globo in 1981. In 1988, he started to work for Jornal Hoje and Globo Repórter. He also hosted Rede Globo's live broadcast of Rock in Rio II. Bial was international correspondent for Globo network from 1988 to 1996. He replaced Renato Machado on August 13, 1988. In 1996, he started to host ''Fantástico''. As of 2014, he's been hosting the ''Big Brother Brasil'' for 14 seasons. In 2003 he translated and interpreted " Wear Sunscreen" by Mary Schmich, which was a great success. On July 5, 2012, he started to present a brand new show called '' Na Moral''. Alvorada is a city in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, adjacent to the city of Porto Alegre. The city is also known as "The Capital of Solidarity." Cianorte is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil, with an estimated population of 83,816, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics in 2020.
