Bicske ( hu, Bicskei járás) is a district in north-eastern part of Fejér County. '' Bicske'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Central Transdanubia Statistical Region. Geography Bicske District borders with Oroszlány District and Tatabánya District ''( Komárom-Esztergom County)'' to the north, Budakeszi District ''( Pest County)'' to the east, Martonvásár District, Gárdony District and Székesfehérvár District to the south, Mór District to the west. Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. Altogether, there are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Alcsútdoboz
Alcsútdoboz is a village in Fejér county, Hungary. Alcsútdoboz was created in 1950 by the merger of the municipalities of Alcsút (German: ''Altschutt'') and Vértesdoboz. History Archduke Joseph, Palatine of Hungary had his country estate Alcsút Palace there. It was constructed by the renowned architect Mihály Pollack. Vértesboglár
Vértesboglár is a village in Fejér county, in the Járás (district) of Bicske, Hungary. History Vértesboglár and its surroundings were already inhabited by the Romans, as evidenced by the finds and the traces of the Roman road crossing the settlement. The name of Boglár (Al- and Felboglár) - upper and lower Boglár - was already mentioned in the documents before 1187 as a royal estate. It was written as Boclar in 1193, Boklar in 1221, Olboklar (Alboglár) (lower Boglár) in 1311, and Boklár in 1339. Medieval were found in Alkotmány Street 48. During the period of Turkish subjugation/occupation, the village was depopulated. It belonged to Csákvár, and its inhabitants cultivated the lands belonging to the destroyed settlement. Due to their geographical location and the common past, the population of the villages should be considered together as one entity. Óbarok ( Nagyegyháza) is a village in the region Central Transdanubia, situated on the North of Fejér county, 50 km from Székesfehérvár, in Hungary. The village is lying between the Gerecse and Vértes mountains, in the Váli Valley ( Váli völgy). Mány
Mány (german: Maan) is a town in Hungary, located in the north-east of Fejér County in the Zsámbéki Basin. History In the Middle Ages Mány was in Esztergom county. Felcsút
Felcsút is a village in Fejér county, Hungary. History The village was first mentioned in 1269 where its name was originated from the personal name "Csút". ("fel-" felső"means "upper" in Hungarian.) In the Middle Ages the owners were crusaders from Székesfehérvár and in the 15th century became property of the Pálos rend. Owners and inhabitants were often changed between the 16th century and 19th century. The Roman Catholic church was built in classicist style between 1828 and 1840, and the Reformed church was finished by 1895. A big change was the building of the railway which connected the village to the rest of the country, which was discontinued since.
