Harold Atteridge
Harold Richard Atteridge (July 9, 1886 – January 15, 1938) was an American composer, librettist and lyricist primarily for musicals and revues. He wrote the book and lyrics for over 20 musicals and revues for the Shubert family, including several iterations of ''The Passing Show''. Biography Atteridge was born in Lake Forest, Illinois, the only child of Richard H. Atteridge and Ann T. O'Neill."Harold Atteridge, Broadway Author," ''New York Times'', January 17, 1938, p. 19. Victor Kremer (producer)
Victor Albert Kremer (born June 17, 1870 in Germany) was a music publisher, film producer and distributor, as well as a real estate developer in the U.S. An immigrant from Germany, Kremer established a music publishing company. He later acquired studio space to produce his own films and acquired film rights from Essanay as it shut operations. His company reissued several Charlie Chaplin films. Kremer was born in June 17, 1870 in Alsheim, Alzey-Worms, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He immigrated to the U.S. on November 29, 1892 and by 1898 Kremer had formed a music publishing firm. He was Alfred Solman’s cousin and issued Solman’s first song, “Miss Phoebe Johnsing”. Kremer and the Solman family shared a residence from 1898 to 1900, and during or shortly after that time, Solman and his wife became estranged and then divorced. Howard McCarver
The McCarver Brothers, Howard McCarver and William McCarver, performed in minstrel and vaudeville shows from the late 19th century into the 20th. William McCarver (often known as "Billy" or "Billie") was lauded for his make-up, contortion, singing, and dancing in his comedy duo performances. In 1894, William McCarver was part of Howard McCarver's Operatic Minstrels and in 1895 they were with Al G. Field. He also performed with Arthur Rockwell's Georgia Minstrels. One of his reported performing partners was Theodore Pankey.
