Bernard Vaughan (basketball)
Bernard Vaughan, Society of Jesus, SJ (1847–1922) was an English people, English Catholic Church, Catholic priest, brother of Bishops Herbert Vaughan, Herbert, Roger Vaughan, Roger and John Stephen Vaughan, John Stephen Vaughan. Biography Early life He was born in Herefordshire, the son of Lieutenant-Colonel John Francis Vaughan, of an old Recusancy, recusant (Catholic Church, Catholic) family, the Vaughans of Courtfield, Herefordshire. His mother, Louisa Elizabeth Rolls Vaughan, Eliza Rolls from The Hendre, Monmouthshire (historic), Monmouthshire, was a Catholic convert and intensely religious.
