Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg – Prenzlauer Berg East (German: ''Bundestagswahlkreis Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg – Prenzlauer Berg Ost'') is an electoral constituency (German: ''Wahlkreis'') represented in the Bundestag. It elects one member via first-past-the-post voting. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 83. It is located in central Berlin, comprising the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough. Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg – Prenzlauer Berg East was created for the 2002 federal election. She was a prominent civil rights activist in East Germany and after the German reunification she first represented the Alliance 90/The Greens and then the German Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in the Bundestag. Halina Wawzyniak (born 17 July 1973) is a German politician of The Left who served as a member of the Bundestag from 2009 to 2017. She was federal co-deputy leader of The Left from 2008 to 2012.
