Bente Erichsen
Bente Erichsen (born 7 January 1949) is a Norwegian culture director and the current (and inaugural) Director of the Nobel Peace Center. A former journalist and commercials producer, Erichsen started her career as feature film producer in 1979. By 1998 she had produced 17 features, in addition to directing ''Over grensen'' (''The Feldmann Case'', 1987) and ''People and Robbers of Cardemom Town'' (1988), as well as a number short films. Erichsen was also the founder of the Amanda Award (The Norwegian film award) and a co-founder of Heddaprisen (The Norwegian Theatre Award). From 1991 to 1993 Erichsen headed the culture programme of the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Norway. She was director of Hedmark Theatre from 1993 to 1997 and director of Norway's National Touring Theatre from 1997 to 2005. In 2005 she became the first director of the Nobel Peace Center. Nobel Peace Center
The Nobel Peace Center ( no, Nobels Fredssenter) in Oslo, Norway is a showcase for the Nobel Peace Prize and the ideals it represents. The center is also an arena where culture and politics merge to promote involvement, debate and reflection around topics such as war, peace and conflict resolution. Lasse Glomm
Lasse Glomm (September 5, 1944 – October 11, 1996) was a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. He directed eight feature films and wrote the screenplays for seven films. He also produced several films. Career Glomm began his career as a film journalist and editorial member of the film magazines ''Fant'' and ''Filmavisa''. He became involved in film work in 1972. He was a production assistant and manager on several films, including Joseph Losey's film adaptation of ''A Doll's House'' (1973) and Per Blom's '' Mors hus'' (1974). Glomm made his directorial debut with '' Det andre skiftet'' (1978) and followed up with '' At dere tør!'' (1980), both based on books by Espen Haavardsholm. ''When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town'' ( no, Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by) is a 1955 Norwegian children's book written and illustrated by Thorbjørn Egner, which tells the story of Kardemomme by (Cardamom Town). It is considered one of the most important works in Norwegian children's literature. The book includes many songs which are connected to the story. The story has been adapted into a play and television program. The criminologist Nils Christie considered that Egner had contributed significantly to criminology in Norway due in part to this book. Plot summary The book is about the peaceful town of Kardemomme and the people there, as well as the only characters which stir up serious trouble. Ellen Horn (born Ellen Stoesen, 1 February 1951) is a Norwegian actress, theatre director, and politician for the Labour Party.Rossiné Career Horn started as a puppet actor at Oslo Nye Teater (1969–70), and was educated at the Teaterhøyskolen (1972–75), and since the late 1980s has been one of the most central and prominent figures in Norwegian theater.
