Beijing Airport
Beijing, as the capital and one of the four municipalities of the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a transport hub, with a sophisticated network of roads, railways and two major airports. Five completed ring roads encircle the city with nine expressways heading in virtually all compass directions, supplemented by eleven China National Highways. Transport in the capital is overseen by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport. Road network Ring roads The city is served by five completed ring roads. From the centre of the city outward, they are: * 2nd Ring Road * 3rd Ring Road * 4th Ring Road * 5th Ring Road * 6th Ring Road The "1st Ring" of Beijing refers to the historic tram route (now demolished) through Xidan, Ping'anli, Di'anmen, Beixinqiao, Dongdan and Tiananmen. South is one of the cardinal directions or compass points. The direction is the opposite of north and is perpendicular to both east and west. Dongdan, Beijing
Dongdan (), literally "Eastern Single" or "Eastern Single Sign Gate" is the name of a crossing on Beijing's Chang'an Avenue and surrounding neighborhood. Jingshen Seafood Market or Chingshen Seafood Market (JSM; ) is a marketplace in the Fengtai district of Beijing. Synopsis As with other marketplaces in China, wholesale and retail trade are both seen here, as well as restaurants. Jingshen is the largest seafood marketplace in Beijing. Tourists are advised to "keep expectations low in terms of a clean shopping environment as it can be a little messy in there" because "most sections of the market are devoted to large-scale, wholesale purchases". Retail vendors are located on "the first floor of a three-floor building located at the center" of the marketplace. Tongzhou District (, alternate spellings ''Tungchow'' ''Tungchou'' (T'ung-chou), or Tong County during 1914–1997) is a district of Beijing. It is located in southeast Beijing and considered the eastern gateway to the nation's capital. Airport Expressway (Beijing)
The Airport Expressway (), officially the S12, is a controlled-access highway in Beijing, China, which links central Beijing to the Beijing Capital International Airport. It is just under 20 km in length. Opened in 1993, the expressway links Sanyuanqiao on the northeastern 3rd Ring Road to Beijing Airport. Another expressway, the 2nd Airport Expressway, was built in 2008 prior to the Beijing Olympics to serve traffic from the city to the airport. Yanqing District
Yanqing District (), formerly known as Yanqing County before 2015, is a district of the municipality of Beijing located northwest of the city proper of Beijing. The district consists of 3 subdistricts, 11 towns and 4 townships, and borders the Beijing districts of Huairou to the east and Changping to the south as well as the Hebei counties of Huailai to the west and Chicheng to the north.
