''Big Bad Beetleborgs'' (later ''Beetleborgs Metallix'') is an American live-action superhero television series by Saban Entertainment and was co-produced with Renaissance-Atlantic Films, Toei Company and Bugboy Productions. Two seasons aired on Fox Kids from September 7, 1996 to March 2, 1998. The series adapted combat footage from the Metal Hero tokusatsu-series ''Juukou B-Fighter'' (first season) and ''B-Fighter Kabuto'' (second season). Unlike its contemporaries, such as ''Power Rangers'', the show had a greater emphasis on sitcom elements, rather than a villain of the week. Shuki Levy
Shuki Levy ( he, שוקי לוי; born June 3, 1947) is an Israeli-American music composer and television producer. Levy's best known work is soundtrack compositions for children's television programs of the 1980s, such as '' The Real Ghostbusters'', '' Inspector Gadget'', ''The Mysterious Cities of Gold'', ''M.A.S.K.'', ''Dinosaucers'', ''He-Man and the Masters of the Universe'', '' She-Ra: Princess of Power'', and ''Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors''. Rappin' Granny
Vivian Smallwood (June 18, 1933 – July 22, 2017), known by her stage name Rappin' Granny, was an American grandmother who performed hip-hop music. She lived in Castaic, California, near Los Angeles. Outside of being known for portraying "Nano" Williams in ''Big Bad Beetleborgs'', Smallwood was a contestant on the NBC television series '' America's Got Talent'' during the 2006 season. Career Rapping Smallwood was employed as a postal worker and began rapping in the mid-1980s. She took first place in a rap contest at a South-Central Los Angeles roller rink with an anti-drug themed rap. By 1988 she had formed a group with her son called Rappin' Granny and DJ Len. Metal Hero
The is a metaseries of tokusatsu superhero TV series produced by Toei for Japanese television. The protagonists of the ''Metal Hero Series'' are mainly space, military and police-based characters who are typically either androids, cyborgs, or human beings who don "metallic" armored suits. Henceforth, most of the Metal Heroes are also referenced as another example of the "Henshin (transforming) Heroes" genre. Usually, the genre revolves around a technological theme where technology, in the right hands, can be used for the greater good. The shows were produced by Toei from 1982 through 1999 in conjunction with their other Tokusatsu superhero shows, ''Kamen Rider'' and ''Super Sentai''.
