Bazelevs is a US-based production company founded by Hollywood director and producer Timur Bekmambetov. The company has been producing films such as ''Night Watch'', '' Day Watch'', ''Wanted'', ''The Darkest Hour'', '' Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'' and ''Hardcore Henry''. The company was involved in producing the animated film '' 9'', which was nominated for Best Animated Film in 2010 at the Producers Guild of America Awards 2009. In the summer of 2010 in Moscow, they filmed the Russo-American projects ''The Darkest Hour'', in cooperation with 20th Century Fox, New Regency, Summit Entertainment and '' Kikoriki. Team Invincible'' in cooperation with Columbia Pictures, in the United States with Bekmambetov as a producer. In 2015, the company have since released films in a new format titled "Screenlife" which each film is shot in the point-of-view of computer screens and smartphones. He's A Dragon
''He's a Dragon'' or ''He is Dragon'' (russian: Он – дракон, On – drakón), also in English territories titled as ''I Am Dragon'', and in Germany ''Dragon: Love is a Scary Tale'', is a 2015 Russian 3D romantic fantasy adventure film written and directed by Indar Dzhendubaev and produced by Timur Bekmambetov's company Bazelevs. The two main roles are played by Maria Poezzhaeva and Matvey Lykov. The film is loosely based on Marina and Sergey Dyachenko's 1996 fantasy novel ''The Ritual''. The action takes place in a fictional fantasy world, which is a stylistic fusion of Medieval Russia with Scandinavian, Celtic and Eastern traditions. The plot is about Princess Miroslava (Poezzhaeva) being abducted by a dragon and carried away to its lair on a remote island, where she encounters a mysterious young man named Arman (Lykov), and an Aye-aye. ''The Snow Queen'' (russian: Снежная королева, lit=The Snow Queen, translit=Snezhnaya Koroleva) is a 2012 Russian 3D computer-animated fantasy adventure family film written by Vadim Sveshnikov and directed by Vladlen Barbe and Maxim Sveshnikov. ''The Snow Queen'' was produced by Wizart Animation and released by Bazelevs. InlayFilm acted as co-production studio. The film is a remake of the 1844 story of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. The film was produced by Timur Bekmambetov, Alexander Ligaiy, Yuri Moskvin, Sergey Rapoport and Olga Sinelshchikova. Like the fairy tale, the main character and heroine of the film is Gerda (voiced by Nyusha and Jessica Straus). Set after the Snow Queen invoked the spell of eternal winter, the film follows the story of Gerda who sets out on an improbable frigid journey up North to save Kai. Timur Nuruakhitovich Bekmambetov (, ; ; born June 25, 1961) is a Russian-Kazakhstan, Kazakh film Film director, director, Film producer, producer, screenwriter, and tech entrepreneur. ''Wanted'' is a 2008 action thriller film directed by Timur Bekmambetov and written by Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, and Chris Morgan, loosely based on the comic book miniseries by Mark Millar and J. G. Jones. The film stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Terence Stamp, Thomas Kretschmann, Common, and Chris Pratt. Its plot revolves around Wesley Gibson (McAvoy), a frustrated account manager who discovers that he is the son of a professional assassin and decides to join the Fraternity, a secret society in which his father worked. ''Paws, Bones & Rock'n'roll'' (russian: Ёлки лохматые, Yolki lokhmatye, meaning ''Shaggy Christmas Trees''), is a 2015 Russian children's comedy film, spin-off from ''Yolki'', featuring the dogs Pirate and Yoko, which appeared in ''Yolki 3''. Plot Samara resident Nastya, mistress of the dogs Pirate and Yoko, flies with her grandmother to St. Petersburg, and leaves her pets in the hotel for dogs, where two thieves, Makar (a hotel employee) and Lyokha (a dog dealer in a market that is not in the best of terms with the authorities) - decide to break in to the houses of the wealthy dog owners, including Nastya's parents.
