Bay Lake is a natural lake about across and with a depth of , located in Orange County, Florida, in the north end of the Walt Disney World property, in the Disney-controlled city of Bay Lake, Florida, and immediately to the east of the Magic Kingdom. It is the main route visitors to the Magic Kingdom take via Ferry Boat from the Transportation and Ticket Center. Other options to reach the park is via Monorail that travels at the edge of the lake, with stops throughout the surrounding resorts or via Disney buses. It is roughly triangular in shape and is under the jurisdiction of the Reedy Creek Improvement District. The lake connects with the Disney-made Seven Seas Lagoon via a water bridge on the west side. Bay Lake, Florida
Bay Lake is a city in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 29 at the 2020 census. It is named after a lake that lies east of the Magic Kingdom. All four of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, and one of Walt Disney World's two water parks, are in Bay Lake, though all Disney parks in the region have mailing addresses in nearby Lake Buena Vista. Bay Lake is one of two Florida municipalities inside the Reedy Creek Improvement District, which also includes Walt Disney World, the other being Lake Buena Vista. Disney's River Country was the first water park at Walt Disney World. River Country was located along the shores of Bay Lake and near Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the park was themed as a rustic, old-fashioned swimming hole. Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, commonly known as Bay Lake Tower, is a Disney Vacation Club resort located at the Walt Disney World Resort that opened in 2009.
