Baron Berwick

	Baron Berwick Baron Berwick, of Attingham Park in the County of Shropshire, was a title in the Peerage of Great Britain. It was created in 1784 for Noel Hill, who had earlier represented Shrewsbury and Shropshire in Parliament. He was the son of Thomas Hill (originally Thomas Harwood), son of Thomas Harwood, a draper, of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. His paternal grandmother was Margaret, daughter of Rowland Hill, sister of Sir Richard Hill and aunt of Sir Rowland Hill, 1st Baronet, ancestor of the Viscounts Hill. Hill's father had assumed the surname of Hill in lieu of his patronymic on succeeding to the Hill estates through his mother. Lord Berwick was succeeded by his eldest son, the second Baron. He was a patron of art. He died childless and was succeeded by his younger brother, the third Baron. He was a diplomat and politician. 	Thomas Hill, 2nd Baron Berwick Thomas Noel Hill, 2nd Baron Berwick of Attingham, FSA (21 October 1770 – 3 November 1832), was a British peer and art patron. The first son of Noel Hill, who was created Baron Berwick in 1784, and his wife Anna Vernon, he was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge, where he was in the same year as Edward Daniel Clarke, and graduated as M.A. in 1791. In 1792–94, he paid Clarke's expenses as a traveling companion to Germany, Switzerland and Italy; he employed Angelica Kauffman in painting. In 1801 Thomas Noel Hill became a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.). On 8 February 1812 he married Sophia Dubochet, daughter of John James Dubochet, at St Marylebone Church, London. 	Lord Lloyd Of Berwick Anthony John Leslie Lloyd, Baron Lloyd of Berwick, (called Tony; born 9 May 1929) is a retired British judge, and a former member of the House of Lords. Early life and education Lloyd was born on 9 May 1929, the son of Edward John Boydell Lloyd and Leslie Johnston Fleming. He was educated at Eton College, where he was a King's Scholar. 	Baron Hume Of Berwick Baron Hume of Berwick was a title which has been created twice. The first creation was in either the Peerage of England or the Peerage of Scotland. The second creation was in the Peerage of Great Britain.
