Baroda Cricket Team
The Baroda cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the city of Baroda. The home ground of the team is the Moti Bagh Stadium on the palace grounds. The team is run by the Baroda Cricket Association. It has been one of the most successful teams in the Ranji Trophy in the new millennium. Baroda were runners-up in the 2005/06 Ranji Trophy. It is one of three Gujarat Teams, the others being the Saurashtra cricket team and Gujarat cricket team Competition history Baroda has only emerged as a strong team in recent years. Ambati Rayudu
Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu (born 23 September 1985) is an Indian cricketer who currently captains the Baroda cricket team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy championship. He played 61 limited overs matches for the India national cricket team between 2013 and 2019 and is a right-handed middle-order batsman, who occasionally keeps wicket and bowls right-arm off breaks. He plays for Hyderabad in domestic cricket, and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rayudu began his first-class career with Hyderabad in 2002 at the age of 16 and, by the following year, was playing for India A. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise cricket team based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 2008, the team plays its home matches at the M. A. Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right-handed spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. The Gujarat State Fertilizer Corporation Ground is a cricket ground in Vadodara, India. The first recorded match on the ground was during the 1971/72 cricket season.
