Banda Los Recoditos
Banda Los Recoditos is a Mexican Banda formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. It was founded in 1989 by friends and family members of Banda el Recodo by Cruz Lizárraga. Alfonso Lizárraga and Pancho Barraza, the first vocalists, were two of the more than dozen bandmembers comprising the original incarnation of the band. After releasing several albums, in 2010 the band released their album '' ¡Ando Bien Pedo!'', featuring the single of the same title, which became a number-one hit in the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs chart. Controversies In 1998 Alfonso Lizárraga member of Banda El Recodo come one fit them the name so that the band was forced to change their name to Banda Vuelta De Río. This band recorded three albums with Musart and some members returned to Recoditos, the actual band. Banda is a genre of Regional Mexican music and type of ensemble in which wind (mostly brass) and percussion instruments are performed. The history of banda music in Mexico dates from the middle of the 19th century with the arrival of Piston valve, piston brass instruments, when community musicians tried to imitate military bands. The first bandas were formed in Southern and Central Mexico. Many types of bandas exist in different territories and villages, playing traditional or modern music, organized privately or municipally. The ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs (formerly Hot Latin Tracks and Hot Latin 50) is a record chart in the United States for Latin songs, published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. In music, hemiola (also hemiolia) is the ratio 3:2. The equivalent Latin term is sesquialtera. In rhythm, ''hemiola'' refers to three beats of equal value in the time normally occupied by two beats. Discos Musart is a Mexican record label founded in 1948. It is headquartered in Mexico City and remains one of the country's biggest labels, focusing on Mexican music, as well as international releases licensed from various labels around the world. Over the years it has had several imprints such as Trebol, Oasis and Balboa Records. During the 1950s, Musart distributed albums by Cuban label Panart in Mexico. Until Capitol Records opened in Mexico in 1965, recordings by The Beatles were released by Musart Records in Mexico. Capitol re-releases now sometimes use completely different covers so detecting whether a Capitol version is actually an original Musart album or not can be difficult.
