Bahram Radan ( fa, بهرام رادان , born April 28, 1979) is an Iranian actor, producer and singer. He has received various accolades, including two Crystal Simorgh and a Hafez Award. Career While studying business management in college, Radan signed up for acting classes where he was discovered as an emerging talent. He got his first break when he was given an opportunity for his first role starring in the movie ''The Passion of Love''. The movie achieved great success at the Iranian box office and was one of the top-grossing movies of 2000. Radan has since starred in many movies and has become a popular household name in the Middle East, often referred to as one of the top five superstars of Iranian cinema. Fajr Film Festival
Iran's annual Fajr International Film Festival ( fa, جشنواره بینالمللی فیلم فجر), or Fajr Film Festival (little: FIFF; fa, جشنواره فیلم فجر), has been held every February and April in Tehran since 1982. The festival is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. It takes place on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The awards are the Iranian equivalent to the American Academy Awards. The Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF) is an international film festival that is held annually in Ladakh, India. Inaugurated in 2012, it is the first international film festival to be held in Ladakh. It is held in the Himalayan town of Leh, the largest town in Ladakh, at an altitude of more than 11,000 feet (3350 metres), making it the highest-altitude film festival in the world. A major theme of the festival is wildlife conservation. ''Doubt'' ( fa, تردید, Tardid) is a 2009 Iranian Crystal Simorgh-winning film directed by Varuzh Karim Masihi. It is an adaptation of Shakespeare's ''Hamlet''. Made after 17 years, Tardid is Karim Masihi's second feature film after Parde-ye Akhar (''The Last Act''). Plot Siavash Roozbehan is a young man and he has lost his father after his mysterious suicide. His uncle is managing his father's wealth. He is in love with his cousin Mahtab whose father is his uncle's councilor. Siavash gradually realizes that his uncle is going to marry his mother. Mani Haghighi ( fa, مانی حقیقی; born 4 May 1969) is an Iranian film director, writer, film producer and actor. Haghighi started making movies in 2001. Early life and education Haghighi was born in Tehran, the son of the translator and gallery owner Lili Golestan and the cinematographer Nemat Haghighi. His maternal grandfather is the writer and filmmaker Ebrahim Golestan. Haghighi was educated in Iran and, from the age of 15, Appleby College in Canada. Dariush Mehrju'i ( fa, داریوش مهرجویی , born 8 December 1939, also spelled as ''Mehrjui'', ''Mehrjoui'', Mehrjooi, and ''Mehrjuyi'') is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, producer, editor and a member of the Iranian Academy of the Arts. The film's title, "''Santouri''" refers to one who can play the santour instrument.
