Burning Witches (band)
Burning Witches is a Swiss Heavy metal music, heavy/power metal band based in Brugg, Aargau. History Formation and self-titled debut Romana Kalkuhl, rhythm guitarist with Atlas & Axis, had been looking for a cast for an all-female metal band for a long time. Over the years, she got to know different musicians and finally found the first cast with bassist Jeanine Grob, drummer Lala Frischknecht and singer Seraina Telli. In 2016, lead guitarist Alea Wyss completed the lineup. First came a self-titled single, which was also the band's first demo. This was voted "Demo of the Month" in both Rock Hard (magazine), Rock Hard and Metal Hammer. In 2017, Burning Witches released their self-titled debut album in-house, directed by V.O. Pulver (Poltergeist (band), Poltergeist, Gurd) and Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer (Destruction (band), Destruction). The album was distributed through the crowdfunding platform Pledge Music. Alice Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier, February 4, 1948) is an American rock singer whose career spans over five decades. Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. The Iron Maidens are an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2001 as an all-female tribute act to English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The band currently consists of drummer Linda McDonald, bassist Wanda Ortiz, lead vocalist Kirsten Rosenberg and guitarists Courtney Cox and Nikki Stringfield. Nervosa is a thrash/death metal band originally from São Paulo, Brazil. The band is signed to Napalm Records and has released four studio albums and one EP. They have had numerous lineup changes since its formation in 2010, leaving guitarist Prika Amaral as the only constant member. History Foundation and ''Victim of Yourself'' (2010–2015) The band was founded in 2010 by guitarist Prika Amaral and drummer Fernanda Terra, months later Karen Ramos joined the band as a second guitarist. A year and a half later, bassist Fernanda Lira joined while Karen Ramos left the band. Ramos lived far outside of São Paulo and was therefore rarely able to take part in band rehearsals. Ross The Boss
Ross Friedman (born January 3, 1954), also known as Ross the Boss, is a guitarist, known as a founding member of both the punk band the Dictators, and the heavy metal band Manowar. History Friedman was born in the Bronx, New York, and formed the punk rock band the Dictators with Andy Shernoff in New Paltz, New York, in 1973. Prior to this, Friedman had played in a local band, Total Crudd. After recording three albums with the Dictators, Friedman went to France and worked for one year in Fabienne Shine's band Shakin' Street. On Black Sabbath's '' Heaven and Hell'' tour in 1980 (on which Shakin' Street were the support act), Friedman was introduced to bass player Joey DeMaio by Ronnie James Dio.
