Brynn Arens
Brynn Arens (born April 7, 1961) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is best known as guitarist and frontman of the rock band Flipp, as well as guitarist for the alternative rock band Zen From Mars. He is also the founder of ''Brynn Co.'', which is his own model of guitar amplifiers created from vintage radio consoles. Early career In the early 80's, Arens was a member of the hard rock band Obsession, the band changed their name to Funhouse who, along with producer Mick Ronson, became the first band ever to record at Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Funhouse then changed their name to Rattling Bones, and had their song "Monkey in the Jungle" featured on the soundtrack for the 1993 comedy film Surf Ninjas; the band would dissolve shortly after. Paisley Park
Paisley Park is a 65,000 square foot estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota, United States, once owned by American musician Prince. It was opened to the public as a museum in October 2016. History Construction of the $10 million complex began in January 1986, and officially opened on September 11, 1987. Designed by architecture firm BOTO Design Inc., of Santa Monica, California, the main designers were architect Bret Thoeny and acoustician Marshall Long. The complex shares its name with Prince's 1985 single, " Paisley Park". Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick is an American rock band formed in Rockford, Illinois in 1970 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos. Their work bridged elements of '60s pop rock, guitar pop, '70s hard rock, and the emerging punk rock sound, and would help set the template for subsequent power pop artists. Chasing Amy
''Chasing Amy'' is a 1997 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Kevin Smith and starring Ben Affleck, Joey Lauren Adams and Jason Lee. The third film in Smith's View Askewniverse series, the film is about a male comic artist (Affleck) who falls in love with a lesbian (Adams), to the displeasure of his best friend (Lee). The film was inspired by a brief scene from an early film by a friend of Smith's. In Guinevere Turner's '' Go Fish'', one of the lesbian characters imagines her friends passing judgment on her for "selling out" by sleeping with a man. Smith was dating Adams at the time he was writing the script, which was also partly inspired by her. Tom Lord-Alge (born January 17, 1962) is an American music engineer and mixer. He began his career at Unique Recording in New York. Subsequently, he was the resident mixer at what used to be known as "South Beach Studios", located on the ground floor of the Marlin Hotel. Lord-Alge received two Grammy Awards for his work on Steve Winwood's ''Back in the High Life'' (1986), and '' Roll with It'' (1988), both winning in the 'Best Engineered Recording – Non-Classical' category. Conrad Uno is an American record producer and founder of the independent record label PopLlama Records. Uno began his career making his own music as a teenager in his makeshift basement studio. At the request of his friends, the Young Fresh Fellows, Uno produced their debut album ''The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest''. Kii Arens (born May 7, 1967) is an American contemporary, pop-artist, graphic designer and director. He is the owner of La-La Land Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2021 Arens was part of the dearMoon project and created numerous Non-fungible token art pieceto commemorate the designated SpaceX Starship, a trip funded by entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa. Kik Tracee was an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California. It was formed in 1988 during the last years of the glam metal movement, before the influx of grunge and alternative rock. Stephen Shareaux is an American singer best known as lead vocalist for the hard rock band Kik Tracee. He is also a solo artist as well as lead vocalist and co-founder of alternative rock band Zen from Mars which includes members of Bang Tango, Enuff Z'Nuff, Flipp, and Fear Factory.
