Brunch Set Up
Brunch is a meal, often accompanied by "signature morning cocktails" such as mimosas, bloody marys, espresso martinis, and bellinis, taken sometime in the late morning or early afternoon – the universally accepted time is 11am-2pm, though modern brunch often extends as late as 3pm. The meal originated in the British hunt breakfast. The word ''brunch'' is a portmanteau of ''breakfast'' and ''lunch''. The word originated in England in the late 19th century, and became popular in the United States in the 1930s. Origin of the word The 1896 supplement to the ''Oxford English Dictionary'' cites '' Punch'' magazine, which wrote that the term was coined in Britain in 1895 to describe a Sunday meal for "Saturday-night carousers" in the writer Guy Beringer's article "Brunch: A Plea" in ''Hunter's Weekly''. Fox hunting is an activity involving the tracking, chase and, if caught, the killing of a fox, normally a red fox, by trained foxhounds or other scent hounds. A group of unarmed followers, led by a "master of foxhounds" (or "master of hounds"), follow the hounds on foot or on horseback. Leslieville is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, situated east of the Don River.
