Brigitte Haas
Brigitte Haas (; born 27 December 1964) is a Liechtensteiner lawyer and politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein since 2025. She is the first woman to hold the office. Early life Haas grew up in Schaan and completed an apprenticeship in the Liechtenstein state administration before studying law at the University of Zurich. She was the deputy managing director of Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2004 to 2019, and its managing director from August 2019 to 2025. Prime Minister of Liechtenstein Haas was the Patriotic Union's candidate for Prime Minister in the 2025 Liechtenstein general election. The election resulted in a win for the party, and Haas was appointed as prime minister on 10 April 2025, heading a new coalition government with the Progressive Citizens' Party. The head of government of Liechtenstein (), known informally as the prime minister, is the chief executive of the Government of Liechtenstein and chairs the cabinet of Liechtenstein. They are appointed by the sovereign prince of Liechtenstein with the consent of the Landtag of Liechtenstein (parliament of Liechtenstein) and are expected to command the confidence of both the prince and the Landtag. The appointed head of government is typically the leader of the political party with the most seats in the Landtag or a coalition of parties.
