Edward Brennen
Edward Brennen (also spelled as Edward Brennan) was a British philanthropist who lived and died in Thalassery, Kerala. Government Brennen College, Thalassery and Govt. Brennen Higher Secondary School, Thalassery are named after him. Biography Born in London in 1784, Brennan joined the East India Company in 1810. He later moved to their subsidiary, Bombay Marine Services. He worked as a cabin boy on a ship. The ship on which he was working crashed during a voyage. Brennan, who was stranded in the sea near Kannur Thalassery, swam to the shores of Thalassery. He then decided to stay in Thalassery. In 1824, Brennan was appointed Master Attendant at the Thalassery Port Office, where he continued for 35 years. The people of Thalassery affectionately called him ''Brennan Saip''. Brennan was thought to be unmarried and had only one adopted son. Brennen Beyer (born November 25, 1992) is an American football outside linebacker who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Michigan. High school Beyer attended Plymouth High School, where he played football and was a first-team All-conference, All-league, All-Detroit West, and All-Metro Detroit selection as a junior and senior. He also was an Associated Press (AP) All-State honorable mention. As a senior, he recorded 65 tackles and 12 sacks. College career After graduating from high school, Beyer enrolled at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science and the Arts to major in psychology. Brennen Michael-Kapono Carvalho (born December 31, 1985) is a former American football center. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Portland State. Professional career Pre-draft Prior to the 2008 NFL Draft, Carvalho was projected to be a 7th round to undrafted by NFLDraftScout.com. He was rated as the 10th-best center in the draft. Brennen Ray Jones (born April 25, 1987) is a Canadian curler from Regina, Saskatchewan. He is a two-time provincial junior champion. In 2006, playing third for Mitch Heidt, Jones won his first provincial junior championship qualifying him for the 2006 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Saskatchewan missed the playoffs, finishing with a 7–5 round robin record. In 2008, Jones skipped his own team to his second provincial junior championship. His Saskatchewan rink finished the round robin at the 2008 Canadian Junior Curling Championships with a 9–3 record. This put him in a tie-breaker against Ontario (skipped by Travis Fanset) which he lost.
