Brennan Stack
Brennan Stack (born 26 May 1988) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League from 2007 to 2011. On 21 March 2022, he was charged after an assault on multiple women in Perth which left them with serious head and facial injuries. On 6 September 2022, he was sentenced to three years imprisonment for the crime. Stack nominated for the 2006 AFL National Draft. He was selected by the Bulldogs in the 3rd Round, #45 overall. He made his debut for the Bulldogs in a 68-point win against Richmond in Round 11, 2009. He played his second game in Round 18 in a win against Fremantle, he was among the Bulldogs best, kicking 4 goals, drawing comparisons to Liam Jurrah Stack, one of the club's Aboriginal players, was exciting to watch with exceptional skills, but ultimately played no more than 21 games, the Bulldogs failing to find a spot for him on their list for the 2012 AFL season. Perth Football Club
The Perth Football Club, nicknamed the Demons, is an Australian rules football club based in Lathlain, Western Australia, currently playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Representing the south-east area of the Perth metropolitan region, the club currently trains and plays its home games at Lathlain Park (currently known, for sponsorship reasons, as Mineral Resources Park), having previously played at the WACA Ground between 1899 and 1958 and later in 1987 and 1988. The club was founded in 1899 and began play in the First Rate Junior Association, but was promoted to the WAFL after eight games to replace the Rovers Football Club after they dropped out of the league and folded, with Perth drawing much of its inaugural WAFL squad from Rovers. Liam Jurrah
Liam Jungarrayi Jurrah (born 22 September 1988) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Jurrah is also known as "Jungarrayi", an initiated member of the Warlpiri people who are based in Yuendumu, a small and remote Indigenous Australian community 300 km north-west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. He is the first indigenous person from a remote community in Central Australia to have played senior football in the AFL. Early life Jurrah was born in Yuendumu to mother Corrina and father Leo Japaljarri Jurrah (a legend in Yuendumu football). Amongst many others, as per Warlpiri tradition, his Grandmother Cecily was also instrumental in his upbringing. The 2011 AFL season was the 115th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured seventeen clubs, with the newly established Gold Coast Suns, based in Gold Coast, Queensland, playing its inaugural season. The season ran from 24 March until 1 October, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. The premiership was won by the Geelong Football Club for the ninth time, after it defeated by 38 points in the 2011 AFL Grand Final. The Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Dockers, is a professional Australian rules football club competing in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's elite competition. The West Australian Football League (WAFL) is an Australian rules football league based in Perth, Western Australia. The league currently consists of ten teams, which play each other in a 20-round season usually lasting from March to September, with the top five teams playing off in a finals series, culminating in a Grand Final. Richmond Football Club
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Richmond joined the Victorian Football League (now known as the AFL) in 1908 and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020.
