Eatonton is a city in and the county seat of Putnam County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 6,307. It was named after William Eaton, an officer and diplomat involved in the First Barbary War. The name consists of his surname with the English suffix "ton", meaning "town". The track currently hosts one race for the series, currently known as the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200. History ARCA (then known as MARC) first raced at Salem Speedway in 1955, with Jack Harrison (racing driver), Jack Harrison winning the inaugural race. The Springfield ARCA 100 (formerly the Allen Crowe 100, Atlas 100 and the Dutch Boy 100) is an ARCA Menards Series stock car race held annually on the Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack during the Illinois State Fair. It is one of two dirt races on the ARCA schedule, the other being the Southern Illinois 100 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds Racetrack, both of which are longtime events on the series schedule. The Sunset Hill Shooting Range 150 is a annual ARCA Menards Series race held at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. The track has been on the ARCA schedule each year since 1987 and the track also hosted races for the series in 1969 and 1983. History ARCA ran at Pocono Raceway for the first time in 1969 on a paved oval, two years before the modern superspeedway was opened. That race was won by Bobby Watson.
