Bostir Rani Suriya
Bostir Rani Suriya ( bn, বস্তির রানী সুরিয়া, translation=Slum Queen Surya) is a Bangladeshi lady action based film, directed by Montazur Rahman Akbar Original Story and produced by Dipjol. Main role by national award-winning actress Sadika Parvin Popy. Film was declared super hit at box office but banned by the censor board in 2005. Plot When Suriya (Poppy) was very young she was raped by a boy of a local politician. She killed that boy and flee to the city. In the city she establishes a gang of women who fight for the rights of the girls in the city. Wherever there is a woman in distress they went there and help her out of the distress. Mishkatur Rahman (Shakib Khan) comes to the city to find a job and meets Suriya. After first meeting Suriya liked Mishkat very much and later falls in love with him. Montazur Rahman Akbar
Montazur Rahman Akbar is a Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, producer, social activist and entrepreneur. He is known for his work in the Bengali-language film industry, which is centered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Akbar also fought in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. After directing multiple plays, Akbar worked as an assistant director on the films '' Chhutir Ghonta'' and '' Janata Express'' under directors Matin Rahman and Azizur Rahman, respectively. Monowar Hossain Dipjol ( bn, মনোয়ার হোসেন ডিপজল) is a Bangladeshi actor, businessman, and former ward commissioner. He is a current vice-president of the Bangladesh Film Artists' Association. Early life He is married to Rumana Monowar. Career He is a Dhallywood film actor, and owns Dipjol Food Industries Limited. He is best known for his style of dialogue and action. He is a supporter of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, and was elected ward commissioner of Dhaka ward number 9 in 1994. Siraj Haider (6 February 1948 – 11 January 2018) was a Bangladeshi actor and director. He acted in over 400 films. He also directed two films. He acted in television, stage, radio and jatra too. Biography Haider was born on 6 February 1948 in Bikrampur, Munshiganj. He made his acting career debut with a drama titled ''Tipu Sultan'' in 1962. He was in class nine at that time.
