Boyd Henry Bode
Boyd Henry Bode (October 4, 1873 – March 29, 1953) was an American Academia, academic and Philosophy, philosopher, notable for his work on philosophy of education. Bode was born in Ridott, Illinois. He grew up in rural areas of Iowa and South Dakota and attended Pennsylvania College in Iowa and later the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Academic degree, degree in 1897, and Cornell University, where he received his Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. in 1900. Bode became assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (1900-1909) and was later appointed professor of philosophy at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1909-1921). In 1910 Bode published ''An Outline of Logic''. In 1921 Bode became professor of education at Ohio State University. Johann Joachim Christoph Bode
Johann Joachim Christoph Bode (January 16, 1731 – December 13, 1793) was a well-known German translator of literary works. Life Bode was born in Braunschweig, the son of a poor day laborer from Schöppenstedt, and went as a shepherd boy to his grandfather in Barum. From 1745 he studied music in Braunschweig, and in 1750 became an oboist in an ensemble there. He continued his music studies at the University of Helmstedt, where he also learned French and English. In 1752, he composed a number of works in Hannover, where he also began to write. At the death of his wife in 1757, Bode went to Hamburg, where he worked as a language and music teacher, and also began to translate works from French and English to German. He worked for the Kochsche Theater, and from 1762 to 1763 edited the '' Hamburgischen Korrespondenten''. Wolfram Bode
Wolfram Bode (8 March 1942 – 25 January 2025) was a German biochemist. Background Born in Berlin, Bode was educated in chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Göttingen, the University of Tübingen and the University of Munich as a fellow of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1971 at the University of Munich for studies of the bacterial flagellum. From 1972 he worked at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried. Wilhelm Von Bode
Wilhelm von Bode (10 December 1845 – 1 March 1929) was a German art historian and museum curator. Born Arnold Wilhelm Bode in Calvörde, and known as Wilhelm Bode for most of his career, he was ennobled in 1913, and thereafter adopted the aristocratic "von". He was the creator and first curator of the Kaiser Friedrich Museum, now called the Bode Museum in his honor, in 1904. He wrote a number of books, many large and authoritative studies of the art of the Italian Renaissance and the Dutch and Flemish Baroque, but also other subjects. Career Bode studied law at the Universities of Göttingen and Berlin, but took an interest in art during his university years. Matthew Bode
Matthew Bode (born 29 June 1979) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Recruited from Glenelg Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), Bode made his AFL debut in 1998 with Port Adelaide Football Club, playing as a small forward before moving to the Adelaide Football Club in 2001. Bode played just one game that year due to injury before having what was easily his best season in 2002, which saw him kick 22 goals and play all 25 games. He followed this with another solid year in 2003. Bode had an injury-affected season in 2004, while in 2005 AFL season he had shoulder surgery which sidelined him after Round 2.
