Blue County (album)
''Blue County'' is the debut studio album by American country music duo Blue County, released in 2004 (see 2004 in country music) on Curb Records. The album's debut single, "Good Little Girls", peaked at #11 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. Also released from this album were "That's Cool" (#24 on the country charts), "Nothin' but Cowboy Boots" (#38) and "That Summer Song" (#53). After these singles, the duo released two more singles for an unreleased second album, before exiting Curb in 2007. Blue County (duo)
Blue County was an American country music duo composed of actor-singers Aaron Benward and Scott Reeves. They released their self-titled debut album in 2004 on Curb Records. This album produced four singles on the ''Billboard'' country singles charts, including the No. 11 "Good Little Girls". Two more singles — "Firecrackers and Ferris Wheels" and "I Get To" — were released in 2006, although neither was included on an album. History Blue County was founded in 2003 by Aaron Benward (formerly of Aaron Jeoffrey) and actor-singer Scott Reeves, who had been friends for several years before the duo's foundation. Scott Reeves
Gregory Scott Reeves (born May 16, 1966) is an American actor, musician, and songwriter. He is known for playing the roles of Ryan McNeil on the CBS Daytime soap opera ''The Young and the Restless'' (1991 to 2001), Steven Webber on the ABC Daytime soap opera ''General Hospital'' (2009 to 2013, 2024), and Noel Laughlin on the ABC series ''Nashville'' (2014 to 2016). For his work on ''The Young and the Restless'', Reeves was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He has received two Soap Opera Digest Award nominations and won the award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 1994. Eric Darken
Eric A. Darken is an American percussionist, composer, and programmer. Biography Drawing inspiration from his grandfather, a band leader. Darken began playing drums at age 12, and played timpani and mallets in high school. Darken attended Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina, then transferred to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Darken was also a part of the ORTV Richard Roberts television show. Mike Brignardello
Giant is an American melodic rock band that was formed in 1987. The band originally consisted of founding members Dann Huff (lead vocals and guitar) and Alan Pasqua (keyboard), and had Dann's brother David Huff on drums and Mike Brignardello on bass. The Huff brothers were part of the founding members of the Christian rock band White Heart. The band scored one hit, the 1990 power ballad " I'll See You in My Dreams", written by Alan Pasqua and Mark Spiro. Giant disbanded in the early 1990s after recording two albums, but resurfaced in 2000 minus Alan Pasqua and released the album ''III'' in late 2001. In December 2009, Frontiers Records announced that they would release Giant's fourth studio album ''Promise Land'' in 2010. Steel Guitar
A steel guitar () is any guitar played while moving a steel bar or similar hard object against plucked strings. The bar itself is called a "steel" and is the source of the name "steel guitar". The instrument differs from a conventional guitar in that it is played without using frets; conceptually, it is somewhat akin to playing a guitar with one finger (the bar). Known for its portamento capabilities, gliding smoothly over every pitch between notes, the instrument can produce a sinuous crying sound and deep vibrato emulating the human singing voice. Typically, the strings are plucked (not strummed) by the fingers of the dominant hand, while the steel tone bar is pressed lightly against the strings and moved by the opposite hand. Bruce Bouton
Bruce Bouton is an American guitarist, session musician, producer, and songwriter. His pedal steel guitar has been featured on many country music recordings, and he helped reintroduce the pedal steel guitar to the forefront of the Nashville sound. Bouton is also a member of The G-Men, the group of session musicians who has played on the vast majority of Garth Brooks albums. Biography Bouton began playing pedal steel in 1973 while studying at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He played with a number of local ensembles, including the Good Humor Band. Trent Tomlinson (born July 3, 1975) is an American country music artist. After several failed attempts at finding a record deal, Tomlinson was signed to Lyric Street Records in 2005, with his debut album '' Country Is My Rock'', released in early 2006. Donald Allen Schlitz Jr. (born August 29, 1952) is an American songwriter who has written more than twenty number one hits on the country music charts. He is best known for his song " The Gambler" (Kenny Rogers), and as the co-writer of " Forever and Ever, Amen" (Randy Travis), and " When You Say Nothing at All" ( Keith Whitley and Alison Krauss & Union Station).
