Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson
Bjørnstjerne Martinius Bjørnson ( , ; 8 December 1832 – 26 April 1910) was a Norwegian writer who received the 1903 Nobel Prize in Literature "as a tribute to his noble, magnificent and versatile poetry, which has always been distinguished by both the freshness of its inspiration and the rare purity of its spirit". The first Norwegian Nobel laureate, he was a prolific polemicist and extremely influential in Norwegian public life and Scandinavian cultural debate. Ivar Bjørnson
Ivar Skontorp Peersen, best known by his stage name Ivar Bjørnson (born 27 November 1977), is a Norwegian musician and composer. He is a founding member and the main songwriter of the extreme metal band Enslaved, and has previously been a member of the metal band Borknagar and collaborated with Einar Selvik on several albums. Bjørnson has released sixteen studio albums with Enslaved and won five Norwegian Spellemann Awards with the band. Biography Bjørnson was born in Etne. He is, along with Grutle Kjellson, one of only two founding members left in the current line-up of Enslaved, having been only 13 years old at the time of the band's formation in 1991. Bjørnson and Kjellson had previously performed together in a death metal band called Phobia from 1990 to 1991. Bjørn Bjørnson (15 November 1859 – 14 May 1942) was a Norwegian stage actor and theatre director. Øyvind Bjørnson
Øyvind Bjørnson (1 January 1950 – 3 December 2007) was a Norwegian historian who specialized in labor history and the history of the welfare state. Biography He was from Haugesund. He received his candidate in 1979, and later the dr.philos. degree in 1987 with the thesis ''Den nye arbeidsdagen''. In 1990, he published ''På klassekampens grunn'', volume two of the work ''Arbeiderbevegelsens historie i Norge'', the history of the Norwegian workers' movement. Maria Elena Björnson (16 February 1949 – 13 December 2002) was a theatre designer. She was born in Paris to a Norwegian father and Romanian mother, and was the great-granddaughter of the Norwegian playwright Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1903. Life Björnson was born in Paris on 16 February 1949. Her father Bjørn was a businessman from Norway; her mother, Mia Prodan (full name Maria Prodan de Kisbunn), was from Romania. Karen Bjornson (born 1952) is an American model. She is best known as one of Halston's ''Halstonettes''. In 2019, she was one of many of his former models to be interviewed for the documentary film ''Halston''. Bjornson was born in Galesburg, Illinois, in 1952. Christina of Denmark (, ; 1120/25 – 1160/70), was Queen of Sweden as the wife of King Erik the Saint (r. 1156–1160), and the mother of King Knut Eriksson. Kristjan Valdimar "Val" Bjornson (August 29, 1906 – March 10, 1987) was an American writer, newspaper editor, and politician who served as the State Treasurer of Minnesota for more than two decades. Bjornson was born in Minneota, Minnesota of Icelandic descent. In World War II, he served in Navy intelligence, stationed in Iceland.
