Big Dipper are an American indie rock band who formed in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, in 1985 by former members of Volcano Suns and the Embarrassment.Strong, Martin C: "The Great Alternative & Indie Discography", 1999, Canongate, They released four studio albums between 1987 and 1990, before splitting up. The band reunited in 2008. "Jet" is a song by Paul McCartney and Wings from their third studio album ''Band on the Run'' (1973). It was the first British and American single to be released from the album. Mark Pellington (born March 17, 1962) is an American film director, writer, and producer. Life and career Pellington was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Bill Pellington, an All-Pro linebacker who played football with the Baltimore Colts for 12 seasons. Mark graduated from the University of Virginia in 1984, which he attended on an athletic scholarship, playing attack on the lacrosse team. He worked at MTV from 1984–1990, winning awards as a promo producer and creating the landmark TV documentary series ''Buzz'' (1990). He became a freelance director in 1990, directing music videos for U2, Crystal Waters, De la Soul and Pearl Jam. The Pleiades (), also known as The Seven Sisters, Messier 45 and other names by different cultures, is an asterism and an open star cluster containing middle-aged, hot B-type stars in the north-west of the constellation Taurus.
