Big Bang Engine
A big bang engine has an unconventional firing order designed so that some of the power strokes occur simultaneously or in close succession. This is achieved by changing the ignition timing, changing or re-timing the camshaft, and sometimes in combination with a change in crankpin angle. The goal is to change the power delivery characteristics of the engine. A regular-firing multi-cylinder engine fires at approximately even intervals, giving a smooth-running engine. Because a big-bang engine has uneven power delivery, it tends to run rougher and generates more vibration than an even-firing engine. In the context of an internal combustion engine, the term stroke has the following related meanings: * A phase of the engine's cycle (e.g. compression stroke, exhaust stroke), during which the piston travels from top to bottom or vice versa. * The type of power cycle used by a piston engine (e.g. two-stroke engine, four-stroke engine). * "Stroke length", the distance travelled by the piston during each cycle. The stroke length, along with bore (engine), bore diameter, determines the engine's engine displacement, displacement. The 2009 and later Triumph Thunderbird is a series of large displacement straight-twin cruiser motorcycles, made by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, Triumph Motorcycles in Hinckley, England. KTM 790 Duke
The KTM 790 Duke is a naked parallel-twin motorcycle, manufactured by KTM from 2017. The Duke's liquid cooled eight-valve DOHC engine uses a 285° crankshaft in order to mimic KTM's 75° V-Twins. Its power output is 95 bhp in Europe (2023–present), and 105 bhp for the rest of the world. They also did a 790 Duke L (2018–2020) model for A2 licenses in Europe. This made 95 bhp. For 2023, the 790 Duke L is the only model in Europe, despite not getting the "L" name. The Duke is KTM's first parallel-twin bike; previously the factory had produced only singles and V-twins. The Mazda R360 is a kei car manufactured and marketed by Mazda as the company's first passenger car — a two-door, four-seat coupé.
