Völkermarkt (; ) is a town of about 11,000 inhabitants in the Austrian state of Carinthia, the administrative capital of Völkermarkt District. Bergstein (Hohe Loog)
The Bergstein is a natural monument in the borough of Neustadt an der Weinstraße in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is designated as ND-7316-202. Location The Bergstein is described as a rock formation (''Felspartie'') and lies at an elevation of ca. 469 metres at the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest and is part of the Hohe Loog (Haardt), Hohe Loog massif. It lies about 300 metres southwest of the Trittbrunnen Way/Bergsteinstraße in the village of Hambach an der Weinstraße and is only accessible on foot. David Rafael Bergstein (born 1962) is an American former financier and film producer. He started his career in real estate development before opening a business advisory firm focused on distressed assets and high-growth companies. He also branched out into independent film production between 2003 and 2010. In 2016, Bergstein was arrested on charges of defrauding $26 million from investors. Nahum Bergstein
Nahum ( or ; ''Naḥūm'') was a minor prophet whose prophecy is recorded in the ''Tanakh'', also called the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament. His book comes in chronological order between Micah and Habakkuk in the Bible. He wrote about the end of the Assyrian Empire, and its capital city, Nineveh, in a vivid poetic style. Life Little is known about Nahum's personal history. His name means "comfort", and is derived from the same root as the Hebrew verb meaning "to comfort". He came from the town of Alqosh (Nahum 1:1), which scholars have attempted to identify with several cities, including the modern Alqosh in northern Iraq and Capernaum of northern Galilee. He was a very nationalistic Hebrew, however, and lived amongst the Elkoshites in peace. Nahum, called "the Elkoshite", is the seventh in order of the minor prophets. Stan Bergstein
Stanley F. Bergstein (June 19, 1924 – November 2, 2011) was an American sports executive. He was the executive vice president of the Harness Tracks of America from 1961 to 2011. He was the first person to be inducted into both the United States Harness Racing Hall of Fame and its Communicator's Hall of Fame. Bergstein died on November 2, 2011, after suffering from health problems for a year. He died only nine months after he retired as vice president. He is survived by his two children, Al and Lisa and four grandsons. His wife, June, died in 2010, four days after their 60th wedding anniversary. Born above a grocery store in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, to the grocer Milton and his wife Esther, on 19 June 1924 and died in his home in Tucson, Arizona, on 2 November 2011 at the age of 87.
