Bennet (band)
Bennet were a British alternative rock musical ensemble, band formed in 1993. They released two albums on Roadrunner Records, achieving mild success on the indie music, independent circuit in the UK. They were best known for their 1997 single (music), single "Mum's Gone to Iceland", the title of which came from a British television commercial, television advertisement for the supermarket chain, Iceland (supermarket), Iceland. The band split up in 1998. In 2016 they reformed with a new single due to be released in the summer, as well as a B Sides compilation. Bennet And The Band
Bennet and the Band is a backing band founded in 1998 by Bennet Roland, Guitarist/Music Director, from Kerala. Band specializes in genre based re-orchestration of popular melodies, Indian film tunes and traditional folk melodies for which the band uses session musicians lined up according to the type of music they need to play for the singer with whom they are jamming. Its performances with the singers often involve improvisation. The band is not confined to a specific genre and it is easily understood from the various artists whom they have conducted jam sessions with, starting from Anuradha Sriram and Srinivas, to the young singers on block like Karthik, Vijay Yesudas, Vijay Prakash, Naresh Iyer, Swetha Mohan, Krish and Haricharan. Bennet Veetraag are an Indian music composer duo in the Malayalam film industry. The duo consists of guitarist-songwriter Bennet and singer-musician Veetraag. Bennet, Nebraska
Bennet is a city in Lancaster County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lincoln, Nebraska Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,082 at the 2020 census. History Bennet was founded on July 29, 1871 when the railroad was extended to that point. The village was founded on land previously owned by William Roggenkamp as a station for a rail line being laid by the Midland Pacific Railway which ran from Lincoln to Nebraska City. It was originally named Bennett's Station for John Bennett, officer of the Midland Pacific Railway. The town was incorporated on October 1, 1881.
