Ben Watson (born 9 July 1985) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Watson has previously played for Crystal Palace F.C., Crystal Palace, Wigan Athletic F.C., Wigan Athletic, Watford F.C., Watford, Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest and Charlton Athletic F.C., Charlton Athletic and had loan spells at Queens Park Rangers F.C., Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion F.C., West Bromwich Albion. Ben Charles Watson (born 6 December 1985) is an English footballer, who is manager for Crediton United FC . He is also currently a coach at League 2 side Exeter City's community trust and holds his B-License coaching qualification. The striker started his career with Brighton before a few loan moves before signing for Bognor Regis permanently in 2004. He later moved onto Grays Athletic where he impressed and earned a move to then Conference side Exeter City after catching the eye of manager Paul Tisdale. Watson is currently on his second spell at Bideford following a recent second spell with Dorchester. Watson is perhaps best known for his time at League Two side Exeter where he won promotion twice, first time through the conference playoffs (where he wore the number 32) and played at Wembley, and the second was an automatic promotion to league one the following season (where he wore the #19 shirt). Ben Watson (born 1956) is a British writer on music and culture of Marxist views, known especially for his writings on Frank Zappa. Watson is well known as a regular contributor to ''The Wire'', as well as the author of numerous books, often entailing studies of popular culture from the perspective of Marxist aesthetics. Watson was a member of the British Trotskyist Socialist Workers' Party; his writing combines this background together with influences from Theodor Adorno and the Frankfurt School, the Situationists and wider cultural interests including the writings of James Joyce and J.H. Prynne. His first full-length book, ''Frank Zappa: The Negative Dialectics of Poodle Play'' argued that Zappa's work was part of the protest against capitalist society. Benjamin Luther Watson (born July 27, 1959) is an American politician who has served in the Georgia State Senate from the 1st District since he was elected in 2014. He previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2010 to 2014. Watson is an active member of the Republican Party, and he has served on various legislative committees. Since 2019, he has chaired the State Senate's Health and Human Services committee. Benjamin Philip Watson FRCSEd, FRCOG, FACS (4 January 1880 7 August 1976) was a Scottish obstetrician and gynaecologist who was the head of academic departments in three countries. He was professor and departmental head successively in Canada, Scotland and the United States. In each of these posts he made undergraduate teaching a priority and reformed training in the speciality. Benjamin Michael Watson (born 11 June 1989) is a British para cyclist competing in road, time trial and track cycling events in the C3 category. Cycling career Watson has been part of the Great Britain Cycling Team since early 2017. In 2018 Watson finished second at the UCI World Para-cycling Track Championships in Rio de Janeiro. In the World Road Championships C3 individual time trial he has won bronze both in the 2018 and 2019. Watson won the C3 road race in Yorkshire 2019, which was the first time a para-cycling race took place alongside the UCI Road World Championships. In 2021 Watson became Paralympic double Champion when he won the Gold Medal in the C3 Men's Time Trial, and the men's C1-3 road race at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
