Belize Defence Force Football Club is a Belizean football team based in Belize City which currently competes in the Premier League of Belize of the Football Federation of Belize. It is sponsored by the country's national army of the same name. The Belize Defence Force F.C (or "Military Football Machine" as they are known at the national level) have won the Belize Premier Football League National Championship three times; the 2009–2010 Opening season, the 2009–10 Closing season, and the 2010–11 Opening season. The Marylebone Cricket Club Grounds (''MCC Grounds'' for short) is a Belizean football stadium, located on the Northside of Belize City, Belize. Football It has traditionally been the homefield of all Belize City clubs that participate in national and international competitions. It is currently being occupied by FC Belize of the Premier League of Belize (PLB). It also plays host to primary school and high school football competitions. Leron Thomas (born April 8, 1979) is an American jazz trumpeter, composer and vocalist noted for his musical style as a "masterful genre-bender". Born in Houston, Texas Thomas attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He moved to New York City to study Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School university. There he studied alongside many notable contemporaries and began working professionally prior to his graduation in 2003. He went the 2019 Grammys awards ceremony and watched his fellow classmate win. Career 2000-2005 Performing live with Billy Harper, Thomas also recorded with Bilal. In 2001, upon the release of Bilal's 1st Born Second album Thomas toured as a member of Bilal's band on Erykah Badu's Mama's Gun World Tour, and the subsequent touring in the US, Europe and Asia.
