Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. is an automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Beijing, China, and a joint venture between BAIC Motor and Mercedes-Benz Group. It was initially established in January 1984 as a joint venture with BAIC Motor of Beijing, China, and American Motors Corporation (AMC) of Michigan, USA; therefore named Beijing Jeep Corporation (). It was the first Chinese auto-making joint venture with a Western partner. Daxing District () is a district of Beijing, covering the southern suburbs of the city. The Mercedes-Benz GLB (model code X247) is a luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz. It was unveiled by the German manufacturer Daimler AG on 10 June 2019 in Park City, Utah, Park City, Utah.
