''Beginners'' is a 2010 American romantic comedy drama film written and directed by Mike Mills. Based on the coming out of Mills' father at the age 75, five years before his death, it tells the story of a man reflecting on the life and death of his father, while trying to forge a new romantic relationship with a woman dealing with father-issues of her own. Beginner (formerly Absolute Beginner) is a German rap group from Hamburg, consisting of Jan Delay (aka Eizi Eiz/Eißfeldt), Denyo and DJ Mad. Their fourth album, ''Advanced Chemistry'', was released in August 2016. Band history The group was founded as Absolute Beginner in 1991, initially with six members: Jan Delay, Denyo, Mardin, DJ Burn, Nabil, Mirko, but the latter three dropped out after a few months. They started rapping in English and German with homemade beats, but later chose to rap solely in German. During their first public appearance they met DJ Mad, who immediately joined the group. In 1993, they released their first track, "K.E.I.N.E." on the sampler ''Kill the Nation With a Groove''. The same year they released their first EP, ''Gotting'', and embarked on their first tour. "Beginner" is Japanese idol girl group AKB48's eighteenth single, released on October 27, 2010. Release Information Much like AKB48's previous singles such as "Heavy Rotation", "Beginner" was released in three different versions with five cover variations, with the theater version being exclusively sold in the AKB48 theater in Akihabara, Tokyo. Each version contained a different set list aside from the title track and "Boku Dake no Value". The third track on type A, "Kimi ni Tsuite" performed by Mint, was selected via a fan vote held on Ameba Pigg.
