Bazi Bridge
The Bazi Bridge () is a stone arch bridge in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China. The bridge is named for its shape like the Chinese character "" ("eight"). History The bridge was originally built in the Jiatai period (1201–1204) of the Song dynasty (960–1279). It was rebuilt in 1256 during the ruling of Emperor Lizong. In 1763, in the reign of Qianlong Emperor in the Qing dynasty (1644–1911), it was repaired and renovated. The last maintenance was in 1982. Shaoxing
Shaoxing is a prefecture-level city on the southern shore of Hangzhou Bay in northeastern Zhejiang province, China. Located on the south bank of the Qiantang River estuary, it borders Ningbo to the east, Taizhou, Zhejiang, Taizhou to the southeast, Jinhua to the southwest, and Hangzhou to the west.
