Bassima Alghussein
Bassima (; born Paula Al Turk () on 1 July 1973) is a Lebanese singer also known as a Studio El Fan winner. Career Bassima started her career in 1998 releasing singles "Washwashny Habibi Sammaani Kalam", and "Fi Orbak w Bo'dak Hayati Achanak". Later on, she has released six albums working with prominent composers in the region such as Marwan Khoury, Samir Sfeir, Tarek Madkour, Boudi Naoum, and others. Yahchouch
Yahchouch () is a municipality in the Keserwan District of the Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate in Lebanon. It is located 42 kilometers north of Beirut. Studio El Fan
''Studio El Fan'' (, "The Art Studio") was one of the Arab world's first star-maker talent shows in Lebanon, created by the famous television director and producer Simon Asmar, and Alfred Barakat. The program helped launch the careers of many famous Lebanese stars like Majida El Roumi, Ragheb Alama, Walid Toufic, Wael Kfoury and Assi El Hellani. The program started in 1972 on Télé Liban where it was broadcast during the 1970s and early 1980s, the LBC television proposed to welcome him during the early 1980s where it aired during the late 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, and finally bought by the MTV in 2009. Marwan Khoury (; born February 3, 1968) is a Lebanese singer, writer, composer and music arranger. Tariq () is an Arabic word and given name. Etymology The word is derived from the Arabic verb , ('), meaning "to strike", and into the agentive conjugated doer form , ('), meaning "striker". It became popular as a name after Tariq ibn Ziyad, a Muslim military leader who conquered Iberia in the Battle of Guadalete in 711 AD. It is also the name of a Quranic chapter.
