Nicholas Thompson (born 1975) is an American technology journalist and media executive. In February 2021, he became Chief Executive Officer of ''The Atlantic''. Thompson was selected in part for his editorial experience, which includes stints as the editor-in-chief of ''Wired'' and as the editor of Newyorker.com.
