Associação Atlética das Palmeiras, A. A. das Palmeiras or simply AA das Palmeiras was a football club based in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded on November 9, 1902, its colors were black and white. It was São Paulo champion of three times: 1909, 1910 and 1915. Their principal uniform had a white shirt with a black horizontal stripe, black shorts, and socks, similar to the traditional Paraguayan Club Olimpia uniform. For the second color, played in a black shirt, black shorts, and white socks, and also played with an alternative uniform in the 1909 Campeonato Paulista campaign: shirt with the left half black and the right half white, white shorts and black socks. Chácara Da Floresta
Chácara da Floresta ( en, Forest Farmstead) was an association football stadium in São Paulo, Brazil. It was used by AA das Palmeiras, a three-time state champion club, from 1906 to 1929. From 1930 to 1935, it was used by São Paulo FC, champion of 1931 Campeonato Paulista, which after financial problems, negotiated the ground with CR Tietê (focused on water sports) It was also used by Independente EC, a dissident of CR Tietê who participates in the 1935 Campeonato Paulista. After the insolvency of CR Tietê in 2012, the land where the ground was located belongs actually to the Municipality of São Paulo. The 1910 Campeonato Paulista, organized by the LPF (Liga Paulista de Football), was the 9th season of São Paulo's top association football league. AA das Palmeiras won the title for the 2nd time. Club Sportivo Barracas is an Argentine sports club from Buenos Aires. The institution was born as a rowing club, nevertheless it is mostly known for its football activities nowadays. The 1916 South American Championship was the first continental championship for national association football teams in South America.
