Association Of National Accountants Of Nigeria
The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) is one of the two professional accountancy associations with regulatory authority in Nigeria, the other being the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). A consultant offering financial services in Nigeria must be a member of either ANAN or ICAN. Organization ANAN was founded on 1 January 1979 and was incorporated on 28 September 1983. The Association was chartered on 25 August 1993 by Decree 76 of 1993. The governing council of ANAN is elected by its members. It includes representatives of the Auditors General of the Federation, State, and Local Government, and representatives of universities and polytechnics. Abuja
Abuja () is the capital and eighth most populous city of Nigeria. Keffi
Keffi is a town in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Keffi. Keffi is 50 kilometers from Abuja. Nasarawa State university is located in Keffi sitting along Keffi-Akwanga express way. It has an area of 138 km and a population of about 92,664 at the 2006 census. The postal code of the area is 961. Keffi town was founded around 1802 by a Fulani warrior leader Abdu Zanga who took the title of emir. Nasarawa State University
Nasarawa State University is located in Keffi Nigeria. Nassarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), is a tertiary institution which was created to encourage the advancement of learning in the state and its neighbouring environment. ''Newswatch'' is a Nigerian weekly news magazine published by Newswatch Communications Limited in Nigeria. ''Newswatchs weekly print run can be as high as 100,000 copies. History and profile ''Newswatch'' was formed by Nigerian journalists Dele Giwa, Ray Ekpu, Dan Agbese and Yakubu Mohammed in 1984, and the first edition was distributed on 28 January 1985. A 1989 description of the magazine said it "changed the format of print journalism in Nigeria ndintroduced bold, investigative formats to news reporting in Nigeria". West African Examinations Council
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is an examination board established by law to determine the examinations required in the public interest in the English-speaking West African countries, to conduct the examinations and to award certificates comparable to those of equivalent examining authorities internationally. Established in 1952, the council has contributed to education in Anglophone countries of West Africa ( Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and the Gambia), with the number of examinations they have coordinated, and certificates they have issued. They also formed an endowment fund, to contribute to the education in West Africa, through lectures, and aid to those who cannot afford education. Umaru Musa Yar'Adua (16 August 19515 May 2010) was a Nigerian politician who, was the President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010. He was declared the winner of the Nigerian presidential election held on 21 April 2007, and was sworn in on 29 May 2007. He served previously as the governor of Katsina state from 1999 to 2007; and was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
