Asbjørn Toms
Asbjørn Toms (20 October 1915 – 2 April 1990) was a Norwegian actor, stage director and playwright. Toms was born in Bodø. He was assigned to the theatre Det Norske Teatret from 1940 to 1986, when he retired. His breakthrough as dramatist was the children's play ''Per Svein og lykkesteinane'' in 1946. He adapted Alf Prøysen's novel ''Trost i taklampa'' for theatre in 1952, which was a great hit with the audience. Among his other stage productions were ''Ole Brumm og vennene hans'' in 1965 and Ingebrigt Davik's ''Taremareby'' in 1966. Bodø (; smj, Bådåddjo, sv, Bodö) is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Salten. Alf Prøysen () (23 July 1914 – 23 November 1970) was a Norwegian author, poet, playwright, songwriter and musician. Prøysen was one of the most important Norwegian cultural personalities in the second half of the 20th century. He worked in several different media including books, newspapers and records. He also made significant contributions to music as well as to television and radio. He also wrote in the ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1954 until his death. Ingebrigt Davik
Ingebrigt Davik (14 April 1925 – 29 January 1991) was a Norwegian teacher, children's writer, broadcasting personality, singer and songwriter. Biography Davik was from the island Fjørtofta in Haram municipality on Sunnmøre. He was the son of Nils Johan Gerhard Davik (1888–1954) and Johanna Josefine Inga Olsdatter Fjørtoft (1888–1959). The family moved to Brattvåg when he was 6 years old. He trained as a teacher at Hamar and later as a music educator. He also studied drama at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger. He worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1959, and made children's programs both for radio and television. He made several television programs based on the children's songs of Margrethe Munthe.
