Arvydas Bajoras (born 15 May 1956 in Merkinė, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian politician and former member of the Seimas. Biography Bajoras was born in Merkinė, Varėna district, Lithuania on 15 May 1956. Arvydas Janonis (born 6 November 1960, in Kėdainiai) is a former Lithuanian footballer. Janonis played as a defender from 1978 until 1990 for FK Žalgiris Vilnius. The 1990/91 season he was part of the FC Lokomotiv Moscow squad. Arvydas Stanislavas Každailis (born 4 April 1939, in Baisogala) is a Lithuanian artist, best known as the creator of many coat of arms for cities and towns of Lithuania. For his achievements in Lithuanian art, he was awarded the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas in 1999. Každailis studied graphics at the Vilnius Academy of Art from 1957 to 1962. Arvydas Macijauskas (born January 19, 1980) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player. Standing at tall, he played at the shooting guard position. He was one of the greatest Lithuanian players of the 2000s, as he won numerous individual awards, as well as club and national team titles. After starting his professional career with Neptūnas, he later played for some top EuroLeague teams, such as Tau Ceramica and Olympiacos. Arvydas Romas Sabonis (; born December 19, 1964) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player and businessman. Recognized as one of the best European players of all time, he won the Euroscar six times and the Mr. Europa Award twice. He played in a variety of leagues, including the Spanish ACB League, and spent seven seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Playing the center position, Sabonis won a gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics, in South Korea, for the Soviet Union, and later earned bronze medals at the 1992 Olympic Games and 1996 Olympic Games representing Lithuania.
