Arundathi Nag
Arundhati Nag (née Rao; born 1955/1956) is an Indian actress. She has been involved with multilingual Theatre in India, for over 25 years, first in Mumbai where she got involved with Indian People's Theatre Association ( IPTA), and did various productions in Gujarati, Marathi, and Hindi theatre, and then in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and English, in Bangalore. They stayed in Chintamani, Karnataka for a few years. Following her marriage to Kannada actor-director Shankar Nag (1980–1990), her association with theatre continued in Bangalore, where she performed several plays in Kannada: Girish Karnad's ''Anju Mallige'', ''27 Mavalli Circle'' based on the famous play ''Wait Until Dark'', ''Sandhya Chayya'' (Jayant Dalvi), Girish Karnad's ''Nagamandala'', and Bertolt Brecht's ''Mother Courage'' as ''Hulaguru Huliyavva''. Parameshi Prema Prasanga
''Parameshi Prema Prasanga'' is a 1985 Indian Kannada language film, directed by and starring Ramesh Bhat, with Arundhati Nag, Master Manjunath, Ananth Nag, Shankar Nag and C. R. Simha. ''Accident'' is a 1984 Indian Kannada language film directed by Shankar Nag. Plot Deepak, the spoilt son of a powerful politician Dharmadhikari, runs his car over pavement dwellers one night under the influence of drugs. All are killed, except Ramanna, who identifies the driver. His friend Rahul, son of an advertising agency chief, is with him during the accident. ''Nodi Swamy Navirodu Heege'' ( kn, ನೋಡಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ನಾವಿರೋದು ಹೀಗೆ ; English : Look Sir, this is the way we are) was a 1983 Indian Kannada language film directed by and starring Shankar Nag. It also stars Master Manjunath ("Chottey"), Arundhati Nag, and Ramesh Bhat. The music was composed by noted composer G. K. Venkatesh. The title song became a chartbuster.
