Artscape Nordland
Artscape Nordland (''Skulpturlandskap Nordland'') is an international art project that aims to bring art to people where they live, art museums being few and far apart in the sparsely populated county of Nordland. The project currently includes 33 sculptures by 33 artists from 18 different countries placed in 32 municipalities in Nordland plus 1 in Troms. The project has been celebrated by the composers Kari Beate Tandberg and Karsten Brustad who working together wrote «Skulpturlandskap Nordland – en musikalsk dialog» ''("Artscape Nordland: a musical dialogue")''. Nordland
Nordland (; smj, Nordlánnda, sma, Nordlaante, sme, Nordlánda, en, Northland) is a county in Norway in the Northern Norway region, the least populous of all 11 counties, bordering Troms og Finnmark in the north, Trøndelag in the south, Norrbotten County in Sweden to the east, Västerbotten County to the south-east, and the Atlantic Ocean ( Norwegian Sea) to the west. Sømna
Sømna is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland traditional region. The administrative center of Sømna is the village of Vik i Helgeland. Sortland
or is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Vesterålen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Sortland. Other population centres in Sortland include Bø, Holand, Holmstad, Liland, Sigerfjord, Strand, and Vik. The Norwegian Coast Guard has its northern base in Sortland, called ''Kystvaktskvadron Nord''. Skjerstad () is a village in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The small village of Skjerstad sits at the mouth of the Misværfjorden, where it joins Skjerstadfjorden.
