Arthur Lee Washington Jr.
Arthur Lee Washington Jr. (November 30, 1949 – disappeared April 12, 1989) is an American fugitive and former member of the Black Liberation Army wanted for the attempted murder of a New Jersey state trooper on April 12, 1989. Washington was added to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on October 18, 1989. He remained on the list for over a decade. He was eventually dropped from the list on December 27, 2000 for no longer meeting the list criteria. He is still wanted by New Jersey State Police, although he is presumed deceased. Attempted murder On April 12, 1989, New Jersey state trooper Michael J. Clayton stopped a Ford Thunderbird (seventh generation), 1979 Ford Thunderbird for an expired inspection sticker. Eric Franklin Rosser (born January 17, 1952) also known as Doc Rosser, is a former keyboardist for John Mellencamp. He joined Mellencamp's band in 1979 and toured with Mellencamp for over two years. He recorded with the band on Mellencamp's 1980 album ''Nothin' Matters and What If It Did'' and on '' American Fool'' in 1982, before leaving the band. Rosser is infamous for being on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's " Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list for his involvement in the production and distribution of child pornography in 2000. He had been living in Bangkok at the time and had been on the run due to a failure to appear. He was arrested in August 2001 for carrying false information, and was extradited back to the United States. The FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives during the 1980s is a list, maintained for a fourth decade, of the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation. The current longest member, Victor Manuel Gerena became the 386th fugitive to be placed on May 14, 1984, and is currently still at large.
