Apollo Engineering College
Apollo Engineering College (AEC) is a private, self-financing, co-educational institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Anna University. AEC was established in 2007. This institution has a built up area of about 2,00,000 sq.feet and has been fully finished. The floors are furnished and there is a garden. Poonamallee is suburb of Chennai, India under the Chennai Metropolitan Area. It was historically called ''Pushpagirimangalam'', later renamed in Tamil as ''Poovirundhavalli'' (), and now colloquially called as ''Poondhamalli''.
