Angora (SEPTA Station)
Angora station is a SEPTA railway station in Philadelphia. It serves the Media/Wawa Line and is officially located at 58th Street near Baltimore Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia's Angora neighborhood, however the actual location is south of Baltimore Avenue. Part of Cobbs Creek Parkway runs along 58th Street from Baltimore Avenue, over the railroad bridge, to nearby Hoffman Avenue. In 2013, this station saw 36 boardings and 37 alightings on an average weekday, making it SEPTA's least used regional rail station. Angora station lies several blocks southeast of the Angora Loop station, which is the western terminus of Route 34 on the SEPTA Subway-Surface Trolley Lines, a line that runs along Baltimore Avenue, three blocks north of the station. SEPTA Regional Rail is the commuter rail system serving Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and its metropolitan region, also known as the Delaware Valley. 49th Street Station (SEPTA Regional Rail)
49th Street station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Philadelphia. It is located at 1104 South 49th Street in the Kingsessing section of Southwest Philadelphia, and serves the Media/Wawa Line. In 2013, this station saw 62 boardings and 52 alightings on an average weekday. The station is a sheltered shed that sits on one platform; the other platform has a ramp to the Chester Avenue bridge. Temple University Station
Temple University station is an above-ground SEPTA Regional Rail station located at the eastern edge of the Temple University campus at 915 West Berks Street between 9th and 10th Streets, in the Cecil B. Moore section of Lower North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station is in the Center City fare zone, although the station itself is located in North Philadelphia. There is a small ticket kiosk located at the base of the stairs on the street level. Temple University maintains a security kiosk at street level. Stairways and two elevators lead up to the high-level platforms at track level. There are two island platforms serving four tracks. Fernwood–Yeadon station (originally Fernwood station) is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. It serves the Media/Wawa Line and is located at Church Lane (US 13) and Penn Boulevard. Wawa Station
Wawa station is a commuter rail station on the SEPTA Regional Rail Media/Wawa Line, located adjacent to U.S. Route 1 in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The original station was built by the West Chester and Philadelphia Railroad and later served the Pennsylvania Railroad's West Chester Branch, which finally became SEPTA's R3 line (later renamed to the "Media/Elwyn Line"). The outer section of the line, running from Elwyn to West Chester including the old Wawa station, was closed in 1986. Angora Loop Station
61st Street station is a SEPTA trolley stop in Philadelphia. It is located in the Angora neighborhood near where Baltimore Avenue (US 13) crosses Cobbs Creek into Delaware County. It is the western terminus of the SEPTA subway–surface trolley lines route 34. Trolleys run from here to Center City Philadelphia. Angora, Philadelphia
Angora is a neighborhood in the Southwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Although its boundaries are not precise, West Philadelphia is to its north, Kingsessing is to the south, Cedar Park is to the east, and Cobbs Creek is to the west. The Angora Commuter Rail Station on the Media/Wawa Line, two bus lines (routes 46 and "G"), and a trolley line (SEPTA Route 34) all intersect around Baltimore Avenue and 58th Street, which is unofficially the nexus of the neighborhood.
