Angel
In various theistic religious traditions an angel is a supernatural spiritual being who serves God. Abrahamic religions often depict angels as benevolent celestial intermediaries between God (or Heaven) and humanity. Other roles include protectors and guides for humans, and servants of God. Abrahamic religions describe angelic hierarchies, which vary by religion and sect. Some angels have specific names (such as Gabriel or Michael) or titles (such as seraph or archangel). Those expelled from Heaven are called fallen angels, distinct from the heavenly host. Angels in art are usually shaped like humans of extraordinary beauty. Angelic (band)
Angelic was a British trance group featuring Darren Tate, Judge Jules and Jules's wife, Amanda O'Riordan. History In 1999, when Judge Jules and Darren Tate launched their collaboration named Angelic, Jules was already a successful club and radio DJ. For Darren Tate, the project was the beginning of his musical career. Jules' wife Amanda was featured as a singer in the project. The debut single "It's My Turn" was successful, reaching number 11 and remaining on the UK Singles Chart for 10 weeks. Instrumentally, the track was based on their previously-issued remix of "Change" by Sunscreem, slightly shortened and with new lyrics. The song was also remixed by Rank 1 and 4 Strings. In 2001, the trio released two more singles, "Can't Keep Me Silent" and "Stay with Me", which also reached the UK Singles Chart. Angelic Acid
Angelic acid is a Carboxylic acid, monocarboxylic Saturated and unsaturated compounds, unsaturated organic acid, mostly found in the plants of the family Apiaceae. It is a volatile solid with a biting taste and pungent sour odor. It is the ''Cis–trans isomerism, cis'' isomer of 2-methyl-2-butenoic acid, which easily converts to the ''trans'' isomer, tiglic acid, upon heating or reaction with inorganic acids. The reverse transformation occurs much less readily. The salts and esters of angelic acid are called angelates. Angelic De Grimoard
Anglic de Grimoard (ca. 1315/1320 in Grizac, Languedoc – 13 April 1388 in Avignon), also recorded as Angelic, was a French canon regular and a Cardinal. He was the younger brother of Pope Urban V. He was born about 1315 in the Castle of Grizac, now located in the commune of Le Pont-de-Montvert, the son of William de Grimoard, Lord of Bellegarde, and of Amphélise de Montferrand. As a young man, he joined the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine at the Abbey of Saint Rufus near Valence. In 1358 he became prior of the Priory of St.-Pierre-de-Dieu. In September 1362 his older brother, the Benedictine Abbot Guillaume, was elected pope. His brother named him Bishop of Avignon that following December. Four years later, in a consistory held at Avignon on 18 September 1366, Grimoard was created Cardinal Priest, with the title of San Pietro in Vincoli, long held by canons regular. Angelic Layer
is a Japanese manga series created by Clamp. The manga was published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten, and in English originally by Tokyopop, but has since been re-licensed by Dark Horse Comics. It was the group's first work using a significantly pared down style, which lowered emphasis on detail and accentuated posing and gestures. It would later be repeated in series like ''Chobits'' and '' Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle''. The manga was adapted into a 26-episode anime series produced by Bones titled which aired on TV Tokyo from April 1, 2001 – September 23, 2001. Seven volumes of videos were released by ADV Films on VHS and DVD in 2003. It was re-released in 2005 as a five volume box set.
