Anew Revolution
Anew Revolution (often shortened to ANR) is an American nu metal band from Austin, Texas . History Anew Revolution was formed by ex- Ünloco frontman Joey Duenas and includes Frank "Frankie" Salvaggio and Rob Urbani, former members of Slaves on Dope. The band released a five-track self-released EP in 2005 featuring the tracks "Cave In," "Rise," "Let Go," "Saddest Song," and "Pieces." In 2007 the band recorded several tracks performed at a live show held at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan, and released a four-track CD which included new tracks "Bite My Tongue," "Savior," and "Blister & Burn." Anew Revolution officially signed a worldwide record deal with Koch Records in late August 2007. Pop Evil is an American rock band that was formed in North Muskegon, Michigan, in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty. The band's roots reside in TenFive, a group formed in the late-1990s by Kakaty and guitarist Jason Reed. Pop Evil won the Radio Contraband Rock Radio Award for "Song of the Year" for "Trenches" in 2013. History Early years (2001–2007) The band was formed from pieces of other Michigan bands in 2001, including a group known as TenFive, which consisted of Kakaty, guitarists Tom Grasman and Jason Reed, bassist James Schaap, and drummer Dylan Allison. Dope is an American nu metal band from New York City, formed in 1997. The band has released six full-length studio albums with their most recent studio album, '' Blood Money Part 1'', being released in 2016. The lineup currently consists of founding member and lead singer Edsel Dope, guitarist Virus, bassist Acey Slade and drummer Daniel Fox. Kittie is a Canadian heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996. All of their material has been released through independent record labels, which to date includes six studio albums, one video album, four extended plays, thirteen singles, and thirteen music videos. "Kittie" was chosen as the band name because the name "seemed contradictory." Kittie formed in 1996 when Fallon Bowman and Mercedes Lander met in gym class. Morgan Lander became the lead vocalist and one of Kittie's guitarists and Tanya Candler completed the band's lineup on bass. They sold over 5,000 copies of an independent release prior to signing to Tooth and Nail. Their second album, ''This Is My Heart'', was released on May 27, 2008.
